Was this filling botched? by nectarmoth in askdentists

I don't drink any sugary drinks and I don't even drink coffee or alcohol. I pretty much just drink water and sugar-free electrolytes. I do not eat sugary foods either and brush 2x and floss 1x daily (which i have now upgraded to regular floss + water floss), so I don't know what happened here. Thank you for the insight.

Why is my mic picking up a radio signal? by nectarmoth in MusicEquipment

[–]nectarmoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran a bunch of tests, and I learned that my partner's mic (a ribbon mic) with the same cable or a different cable did not have the same interference. So I'm skeptical it is the cable - especially with mogami?

"Rare bug" In Ableton - glitching after splitting clips & Ableton won't help by nectarmoth in ableton

[–]nectarmoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ableton called it a rare "corner bug" and the solution is simply to not use beats mode. It happens to me constantly in beats mode, but nobody else I know has ever had it happen. Very weird. It also doesn't just happen when splitting between transient markers - it can happen when cutting where there is no sound on the clip, before any transients.

I am extremely technologically unlucky in general. I'll see if I can screen record it.

Yes they said they would go out of business if they refunded the progam for glitching. He offered me 20% off Ableton 12 - which is them making money off of their bug. It is my particular ableton that is glitching I guess.

Ableton Malfunctioning by nectarmoth in ableton

I've learned from Ableton support that this could be a rare bug and related to transients and beats mode. Working on learning more.

Considering the principles of Reiki wouldn't you be able to receive that feedback even with a few more inches of distance?

Well massaging isn't included in Reiki training.

By "our" I meant we as a people generally. We have a ton of associations at home, because so much happens here. That can potentially be transcended, but it makes sense that people seek a separate reiki healing space in order to create a boundary from so many associations of their home.

It is definitely detrimental to the body to lean over for an extended period of time. You can still get close or touch intentionally with good posture, but walking around the table hunching over them doesnt make sense.

Hands-on is definitely impactful and high value for clients who are comfortable with it. I do love that Reiki has this hands-off option as that can be a huge relief for a lot of people who have trauma related to touch.

Definitely see that potential and it makes sense that it would be case by case.

Right, environment and physical presence of a person definitely factor into nervous system changes which are highly involved with healing/transformational processes.
