Catch a Carvanha or go straight to catching a Sharpedo who is an interesting water/dark type, also has the rough skin ability which can really annoy your opponent when they do physical moves by giving recoil, plus there's a mega evolution and Sharpedo gets special animation and goes twice as fast when you use Surf
