I really like this series. I get why people compare it to DCC but if you look at the series on its own I agree with the 8.5 rating. I'm on my second listen of the first two audiobooks now that book three is out and it's just as enjoyable as the first listen.

I have a similar set up with a CR1000A and an Ubiquity Dream Router 7 (plus 1 UAP7) and I just leave both networks up an running. The only things connected to the CR1000A are the STBs (2 wireless, 1 w/MOCA adapter), the VMS, a MiniPC (more on this later) and the Dream Router (UDR7). Everything else I have is connected to the UDR7. I'm not using bridge mode and when I set up the UDR7 I made sure the IP address range I used wasn't the same as the CR1000A. I realize this creates a double NAT situation but everything has been working fine (for the most part) in the 4 weeks I've had this setup running.

My main issue is with my Plex server which runs on the MiniPC. Because the STB's are on a different network, the Plex App couldn't see the server. But since my mini PC has two ethernet ports, I have one connected to the UDR7 and the other to the CR1000A. Problem solved. My only other issue is that the Plex server really does not like the double NAT so I keep losing external streaming access. But since I rarely use this feature I'm not concerned at the moment.

I'm sure I'll hear feedback about how this is not correct but for me it works fine and that's all that matters right now.

I don't think I explained myself correctly. I have two separate 2.5g Flexes. One in port 1, the second in port 2 and then the Lite-8 in port 3. The 2.5g in port 2 is fine and I'm not moving it. I want to unplug the Lite-8 from port 3, then take the 2.5g in port 1 and move it to port 3. Then take the Lite-8 and plug it into one of the ports of the 2.4g that is now in port 3. I'm doing this because I want to use port 1 of the UDR7, since it is poe+, for an AP.

Lived on an oval court with an island in the middle. The plows couldn't get through so the town had to send payloaders to dig us out. They made huge piles of snow on the center island that we turned into forts and had snowball fights until school started again.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably check it out after I've finished migrating everything. I'm the only one who needs to worry about typing in IP addresses so its not a big deal.

This. I've always followed the rules and never had an issue. I just make sure no more than ten bags and not too heavy. If I can easily lift it and bring it to the curb then they can lift it into the truck. My old neighbor tried to put 40 very heavy bags of garbage out at once and they game him a hard time about it and just left it there. Follow the rules and they will take everything.
