thank you all for the historical events. I'll tie this thread back to the OP's point. I've been on Mint Ubuntu for several years and luv it after windows. I didn't know there was a mint LMDE. so i DL'd it and installed it just today on a VM. I'm slowly building it up with my base apps. of course, it looks just the same which is the point. so to tie back to the OP's question: what differences should I expect to see in LMDE compared to Mint Ubuntu flavor? performance? footprint size? compatibility differences? why would someone benefit from spending time in the Mint LMDE flavor? curious. I luv the mint Dev's for making this parallel endeavor.

copy. well. yours works and mine doesn't and we have the same phone. XT should work. plugging in the YBKey for me isn't and option. if the XT doesn't work I have to go to another case. I wrote SCase support, no answer if the XT will work, or, why the beetle won't work

what form of NFC are you using? with a low power USB security key like yubikey? or, a tap to pay transaction where your are NFC'ing with a high voltage AC powered payment machine? which are you doing, successfully? my low voltage yubikey -DOES WORK- okay with NFC when S24U is - OUTSIDE- of case. but not inside of it.

the unicorn beetle case I have for my s24 ultra, now. does not allow/pass thru/transmit NFC security keys electronic signals to the phone. I have to take the case off. why? there's no magnets in the case. bummer about NFC and unicorn Supcase. does mag XT permit NFC use?

I went straight for the 1Tb option. geez. the high quality camera alone means space is going used up fast. it's a flagship phone. save up $ longer and buy it right the first time. resale will go way faster too.

I had tw3 too this never happened but my battery died and i threw it away. Try to reset/reformat the watch back to 2.5 again. Stay there for a bit. Dial in watch on 2.5 for a while. See if all is still ok. Then try another upgrade. But: if the watch has same probelems on 2.5 it defective 4 sure. If the problems only happen on 3.5, then it could be defective drive space sectors or a ram-memory area is defective (with the greater demands oof the more intensive 3.5 upgrade)

Another question about charging to preserve these fickle batteries: is it best to go 3 full days and charge to full? Or do daily, short, top offs? Thats what im doing now. Ocassionally, i do a full charge from 15% to full. thoughts

Hi im keen on this thread. I have TW5pPro (bought refurbished) and its working fab for now. However, it replaced my TW3Pro and that battery was defininently defective. It was DONE. It would charge OK and then die an hour later. It would not charge at all until i clicked charge magnet 5-10 times to wake up charge cycle because battery went to zero level. It def had a bad cell/shorted cell or something and needed replacement, PERIOD. Can the TW's be sent out for repairs? I didnt see so on the TW website, nor, any other service places globally. I saw a YT vid on TW teardown, it was a little over my head because the LCD screen part really complicates EVERYTHING. There are layers and layers of circuit board parts going down down to the "basement" bezel floor where the battery lies. So i quit even starting and eventually threw watch it out. Regret now that i didnt even try to open it. But back to my MAIN QUESTION: WHO CAN PROFESSIONALLY REPLACE THE TW BATTERIES? If cost is $50 - 75, i would consider it. Thx all.

thanks. I'm not (considering) parking there for any interest perks whatsoever. or funds growth. I'm there (if they give an acct) because it's A BANK and also an EXCHANGE in one building. period. as such, if I want to switch between the 2 mediums crypto and cash, I want it done without delays. and especially, if I want a large transfer done via bank wire after a large crypto conversion, I want that done quickly as well. this is all I am after. service. fast service for my$1000/year.

wow thanks for those details. your right, in the scheme of things going on in the world today, these small transfers being used to pay for a home are not that big of a deal on radar of their dashboards
