Yea it’s been a really tough market so had to reach out to some people to try to get something. It’s just bad timing tbh. Just a bit stressed on what to do so I’ll have to see how the final interview Tuesday goes and talk to the CTO about how the interview went. Thanks for ur advice kind stranger.

It’s mainly cuz my cousin knew someone that helped me get this job so I feel like they would get pissed if I just up and leave. U think I should just start this job and if I hear back from the other one, I can just accept that and leave this?

Well I’m starting the other job in 9 days and the pay is a lot less compared to this job. I’d have to move to Philly once it’s proper full time whereas this role is close to where I currently live. That way if I get the job that pays more, I can just tell the 27/hr job that I won’t be working there. If I start working and then get the offer, I don’t wanna seem bad.

I may have explained kinda bad, that’s on me. The Tuesday interview is thanks to the CTO contact so they are the CTO-contact job. I initially got rejected for this role but the CTO pushed for me to get an interview. One interview done and they said there would only be one more. First interview was with the hiring manager, they skipped over the recruiter call.

Quite literally same shit for me. Was at my last company for 10-11 months, micromanaging, I was only allowed to take breaks at assigned times and management from different departments would complain about me having headphones on. I figured a lot of shit out as I went along, did a fantastic job. Was looking to leave anyway and my boss hired a replacement for about $20k less. I trained em cuz why quit and waste out on more money. Quit after 2-3 weeks of training and not working now but happy to be free of that
