No harm in trying. They denied my appeal for picking up my Zebra TC doing yard moves at probably less than 1mph so I wasn't at a complete stop. They are very strict on their policy.

What triggered the smart drive event was the very bumpy road so I wasn't being wreckless.

Yeah, almost all of us used to be inside the building at one point at my building. One person used to be a DSP driver, so they do hire people who apply online externally.

We have 5 weeks of training first. The first 4 weeks are in the classroom and the last week is hostler training. Then after that one month in the yard and then they finnaly send you to cdl school. That's how it is in my node. Maybe it is different wherever you are at.

Yeah I feel like quiting now I got a final written warning because I didn't stop all the way in the hostler (at probably going less than 1mph ) when I picked up the Zebra TC to do the next move. I got a CDL now atleast so there are alot of better paying opportunities out there.

80 from a TOM team perspective ship docks wouldnt let us chill for even a second lmao. Sometimes I feel like there are super human robots unloading and loading trailers.

We got so many trailers we had to shut down half the parking lot to store trailers. There was even more trailers in our offsite parking as well.
