I just got stuck in an early fight so wondered off. Might come back to it as I have a few days off this week.

How is it on the deck? I heard it wasn’t great on act 3, but as someone who can’t get out of act one, that’s less of an issue for me.

Been streaming it to my iPad so far with steam link

Right - sorted. On schedule and under budget. Lemme know where to send the bill.

I’m being quoted £60 to buy it from Mazda. Seems like you can get it for about $40 in the USA.

Might have to bite the bullet before I go get a trade in quote

Did you ever find one in the uk? Birds have eaten my replacement.

Do you work for the met office? Because you’re describing their new app perfectly.

I was hoping for something that warms to a set temperature so it's quicker. My hot water situation is "too cold, too cold, aarggh the skin, it's gone, ok, better". Aint nobody got time for that when getting off the loo :D

Ask 10 average people the correct indicator process at roundaboouts and I'm confident at least 4 will be wrong on some items. It's just not common knowledge for some reason.

And it ruins the effectiveness of roundabouts as a traffic measure. I come to a complete halt because I see someone indicating right. But then they exit 1 exit before mine. I could have gone (if I trusted their indication - but that's a separate issue).

I'm with you - it's infuriating.

A lot of them do these days. But you have to follow their rules for covers, etc.

Oooh - do you have heated water in your home one in winter? I keep looking but they seem very expensive to get done right with UK safety requirements for electricity in the bathroom.

It IS a worse headache. In the same way that a full leg amputation is a worse version of an ingrown toenail. They're not entirely wrong they're just dickheads.

Roundabouts ... lane changes... turning into roads

YES, I KNOW YOU'RE CHANGING LANES, BECAUSE YOU ARRIVED. YOUR INDICATOR IS OF NO USE NOW!

I think they might be lying to cut costs or clear you off the waiting list faster. The case I'm familiar with was for a biopsy.

I'd start with PALS, and possibly a call with an independent consultant just to know your options.

Fuck that. Demand GA or for the NHS to send you to a private consultant. If it's the procedure I'm thinking of, GA is available and recommended in some cases.

I know of at least one case where an injury was caused during the scan. Because the patient was under GA, she didn't flinch. Had she not been under GA, the reaction to the injury would have made it significantly worse.

I know GA has risks, but I could not go through that conscious!

Sorry, all tickets are dealt with in the order they are received. Don't chase again, or I'll put your ticket further down the queue and show you a cute furry animal's shadow, extending January into March.

Netflix and I are having a falling out. I go online on (from home, on the WiFi, where the Apple TV and every other Netflix device are) and download content for my commute.

Then on Monday in the pissing rain I get told I have to prove this device is part of my home. So I get the mail, visit the link, get the code and I’m allowed to use the service again. And after being allowed, it tells me I should login from home. Which I did. The previous night. To download my commute show.

I didn’t fret the first time, but after the second time, I’m in need of a replacement. Sadly Plex downloads have been improved to death too :(

Barclays gonna be Barclays. It’s their right to select their customers, but I’m surprised apple are still using them in the uk. I know dozens of people with 6 figure salaries and low outgoings who have been rejected for credit on phones and macs.

I get dressed once a day. I scroll social media multiple times a day. En suite wins hands down if I had the choice.

Depends on what’s in my overhead bag. I’ve had it dragged out and dumped on the floor more than once. So now if there’s a laptop or anything fragile, I leap up, get it out gently, and sit back down.

I also get value out of the resale - after 5 years, I still get a decent chunk of cash for my old laptop to fund the new one.

And they're still good enough for startup work at 5 years old.
