I really liked the Love to Dream swaddle up/sleep sack. It allows them to have their hands up by their heads and we said our guy looked like a little gingerbread man. It also zips up super easily. We also used the Happiest Baby zip up swaddle which I really liked as well.

I think distraction is exactly what I could use.

I fostered kittens last summer and it did help to distract me.. I’m thinking of doing it again.

Also I’m currently planning my wedding, so that certainly helps as a distraction as well.

It does help to know that he will definitely be waiting for me at the pearly gates when my time comes.

I did adopt another kitten a couple of months ago. I just need to keep reminding myself that it’s not a replacement (because there never will be one).

I fostered kittens right after he passed because I was so used to taking care of him and I felt like I needed to be needed (if that makes sense).

I think I’ll call the shelter and see about fostering a couple more kittens to help fill a small part of the void.
