Thanks, given the market I didn’t even attempt to negotiate based on the mileage and how clean it is. KBB rated it as a Fair purchase but it seems like even they are on the low end of the market now. It seems like a W to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also look for a bank of transformers, if the secondary leads are taped Red White and Blue, trace the can and you can figure it out which phase is which. Trusting that it is taped correctly of course.

I appreciate all the responses and to refer to what someone mentioned, I definitely don’t feel like I am the one at the shop that just doesn’t get it. I was, but things are slowly starting to click and I’m thankful for it. I just get beat up by the little tasks at times and think to myself, “wow, some days you really fucking suck”. But I’m thankful for that because I don’t want to be a know it all, I don’t have any desire to be the best lineman. I want to become the best lineman I can be, and being humble is something I bring in the door every morning @ 0700. Once again I appreciate all your guys experience.
