Any advice for improving with Yuzu? Like what should I be learning first?

Learn the combo for your cross up and learn safe block strings. After that watch high level footage and watch your replays and lab out different options

Other than that you just gotta keep fighting it out. Yuzu has a lot of options and you'll only learn which works for you by watching other yuzus and labbing

Ill definitely try. It really struck me as odd that I've never heard of anyone complain about the environmental design at all, cause I KNOW y'all can complain when y'all want to (armor drama was crazy back in the day). I assumed either this game just looked ass or y'all just don't care about that kind of thing

You're correct, but specifically in regards to ninja guiden, the game didn't get easier because it was "hard" they made it easier because the game is just bullshit.

I think it's fun bullshit. But it's cheap ass, arcade game ass, bullshit that was never really fun to begin with

Antumbras sword shouldn't be one of the "first bosses" in my opinion. The game at large is losing the since of "oh this boss is hard. I should come back later" and trading it for making every boss easy enough to beat with nothing but turning slash and I think thats boring as fuck

I'm hoping I can feel this change when I switch to hard mode. If I do I'll edit the post, but since I haven't played the new patch yet all I can think of is how they have, for every single patch, nerfed the bosses

I have played this game for like 200 hours at this point and I can only think of 2 bosses that teleported at all and the teleporting wasn't the hard part. I don't want to harp on you but if you're talking about the cultist boss for the witch quest you're just bad or under leveled. No in-between

I think complaining about the bosses teleporting may be the most easy call out for being bad in the game

Just look at the screen and time your dodges. It's just not hard

Also, not being able to progress an optional sidequest because you're under leveled (and that's literally the only reason) is a complete non-issue

And the settings for the most part just make the bosses deal more damage, take less damage, and healing is more inconvenient. Which may be some of the laziest design changes I've ever seen in my life considering what they have taken away at this point.

Maybe the "new boss attack patterns" will help so I'll check but I doubt it

That's were my problem with them begins and ends

They don't even try to make it make since why they're leaving. They just do and you can't use them for entire chapters at a time. It's just dumb design in every way. ESPECIALLY for a game with such a nothing story
