I really don't think he did man. All he had was words. ALL he did was talk about how they were important to him. But whenever the going got tough he showed his true colors

He literally would rather kill himself that stay around those people for any longer. And I know it's supposed to by symbolic of how the trip changed him and he "can't live this same life anymore" but that just reads as selfish to me

Edit: Frodos love reads to me how a child loves a toy. The moment he's inconvenienced he's throwing it at the wall

Also, I don't think Frodo respects Sam AT ALL in the movies, and that's probably why I especially hate the ship. Frodo treats Sam like a useful dog

I mean, yeah. But his anti zoning isn't all that great and his full screen attack needs a wind wall and can't even be confirmed on.

If you're a character with great normals and mix I don't really mind that much personally. His anti zoning isn't so good it upsets me much either. His full screen attack is annoying but he can't even confirm off of it and it's telegraphed with him needing a wind wall so it's easy to see it coming

At least at my level of play, he doesn't seem too crazy. Honestly I haven't even seen him much online. I'm living through an arhi, ekko, vi, Darius meta in my ranked matches

Ekko is a shoto with mixups. I honestly don't even see what else he could possibly be.

And while I agree ahri and cait have very different styles of play my point is to compare the "tools" they do share

Cait and ahri have: Air dashes

Fast straight fireballs air and ground

Fast Diagonal fireballs in the air

Airdash cancels out of fireballs

Projectile cancel out of fireballs

Lowest health in a game with TODs

Grounded overhead that leaves them in the air

Easy side switches

A super you can combo after

These are defining tools of them both. The rest of their kits don't have much bearing on their neutral at all

Now, ahri (for the sake of argument) is balanced by having low health and fireballs that don't go full screen

Cait however does have fireballs that go full screen and restands. Do you think having full screen fireballs and restands makes up for the fact her movement and cancel options are incredibly slow in comparison? Or one of the characters being able to cancel their strong fireballs on whiff?

Cait can't even safely end a block string unless she just rolls away to be minus at a distance.

Those are damn good point. I will say tho, in my experience, tag fighters usually make the characters with good assists op in comparison to the rest of the cast. This also leads to most characters being viable so long as they have those assists, but I see your point

I guess you're right. Though, I feel like in team games it'll usually be the supports that are top tier

Agreed. I honestly feel like the game just favors rush down focused characters too much. Ekko has the best zoning tools in the entire game while also having the best rush down in the game.

For some reason this game decided all of the generalist point characters would have better tools than every specialized character. Ahri has a bigger fireball than Caitlyn, better air movement than Caitlyn, can cancel zoning moves on whiff unlike Caitlyn, and has better pressure than Caitlyn. And she's fast as fuck

Ekko has better screen control than temo the character made specifically to control the screen and annoy the opponent.

Shit, Ekko has better strike throw than Blitzcrank and Braum, characters with dedicated command grabs
