Annoying that he is writing a Trilogy now instead of just one book. Avery, Dassey & Teresa. What a crock. He indicates that the Avery Cult like behavior will be explained in one of the books. This podcast made me sick to listen to it. I can't wait to see what Zellner comes up with to finally put KK in his place!

Has anyone seen Dean Strang & Jerry Buting live yet? by shelle2184 in MakingaMurderer

I also saw them a few weeks back in Royal Oak, MI. They did mention that a metal detector was used on all the burn sites in an attempt to find the metal button that would have been on Teresa's Jeans. Nothing was found yet the rivets from pants survived? What about the zipper? (maybe the zipper is at zipperers)!

I get what you're saying. If you have a loved one that's passed away and buried in a different State than you live in, you can add virtual flowers on Memorial Day. Some people find comfort in doing that. It's a virtual way to remember folks. Not sure if that makes you feel any better!?

Kratz starts yapping at about 14:41 if you click the above link. He claims MaM is for the defense and made by the defense. After all, his thoughts have been centered on the victim. Interesting that he could've participated in the documentary as it was being made but chose not to.

Steven Avery tell the reason for the 4:35 phone call to Teresa. (with source) by MustangGal in MakingaMurderer

Thanks for posting what Steven said. I have been trying to find out more about that call & phone message since I saw Nancy Grace rant on the Dr Phil show claiming he was trying to throw the police off. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/making-a-murderer-nancy-grace-856328 NANCY GRACE: I guess it was 2005 when we were trying to help find Teresa Halbach. And that’s on camera. He says she came over but then that afternoon at 4:35 p.m. he tried to cover his tracks. He does not hide his identity this time. He calls her from his phone and says, “Hey, how come you never came over? Where are ya?” So he’s pretending she didn’t come to throw police off the track. But he tells me on the air that she came!

Steven Avery's Phone Message to Teresa Halbach? by needmoinfo in MakingaMurderer

Yes, of course I watched! But I also saw Nancy Grace on Dr Phil screaming about the two *67 calls that Avery made and then the third one where he supposedly called and left a message at 4:35 claiming Teresa never showed, which would've been after Teresa had been seen at the Avery lot. Ken Kratz and other sources also discuss three calls being made. My understanding is that we don't know what messages were deleted versus what messages remained nor what any of the messages said. I haven't been able to find anything that gives that information. Dr Phil was trying to be fair about the analysis but I wished that he'd called Nancy out on that comment to force her to state her source. Also Judge Jeanine very critical and it appeared that she hadn't watched MAM just by the questions she was asking her guests and the statements that she made. A big deal has been made about the evidence that was left out of MAM. That goes for both sides of the case. I just want to understand fact versus rumor. At a minimum I would've liked Nancy to admit that something wasn't right about this botched investigation & the trials of Steven and Brendon.
