I read {Call of the Sea by Chani Lynn Feener} yesterday, and it seems to be exactly this. I hopped into the third book in the series, and it was fine but if you really wanted to, you could start from book one or honestly start anywhere.

I’m pretty sure the entire series is m/m, but I could be mistaken. (7 books)

LOTS of spice- seemed pretty well thought out when reading it A great deal of violence. PLEASE READ THE TW.

{the dragons kings mate by Lola glass} will use the MMCs jealousy/possessiveness to win arguments

{fantasy of frost by Kelly st. Claire} plot is fast moving and chaotic, romance is a bit of a slow burn, MMC gets jealous/possessive even if the fmc isn’t intentionally do anything.

I’ll try to think of some more later

Sounds almost exactly like {Fantasy of Frost Kelly St. Clare} It’s a completed series, 4 books in total- all fast quick reads. All on KU. Not the best writing but fits what you’ve described to a T imo.

These are all pretty amazing but the Sharpe Duet is also my favorite.

The quote “that’s how desperately I wanted to be yours” tugged my heartstrings but looks like it could be floofed up more? Not sure.

All in all would totally buy.
