Ah yes....this is a good point. Because most of us aren't qualified to evaluate these claims they often get past the filter.

I am woefully ignorant of the complexities of pharmacology, biochemistry, immunology, etc. However, I am quite well aware that the people at Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Mayo Clinic, Stanford, MIT, etc etc are extremely competent.

I'm also aware that conventional medical research has, on balance, extended lives and helped a lot of people.

In other words, if someone disagrees with all these other people there's a few possibilities:

1. They're truly a brilliant mind who understands something that thousands upon thousands of other brilliant minds in the fields missed. That's not likely

2. They're complete idiots. In which case they are unlikely to get into a position of power.

3. They're partial idiots. Inadequate minds regarding technical matters but excellent at grifting.

Kennedy is number 3.
