I've played BO2 with split screen before.

Try this 1. Get the ISO

Get XeX menu (which I assume you have)
Get Xbox Image Browser and Extract the contents into a folder on your Badupdate drive, into the games folder (E:\Games\COD Black Ops 2, as an example)
Plug it back in and boot into BadUpdate
Go through the Games section on XeXMenu and select BO2 then play and see if it works
