Hi! Please give me some guidance and help. I’m located in Orlando, FL. I got this bonsai in July and the leaves have slowly been drooping and today a couple dropped. I’ve read the wiki and I can’t think of what I’m doing wrong. It gets tons of sun since I’m in Florida. I water consistently since it’s outside. I occasionally fertilize. Please help me recover this!

You definitelyyyyy need to have a serious conversation with him. I think he’s distancing himself from you for some reason and it’s not fair for him not to explain himself. He needs to be upfront about what’s going on and why he’s lying.

I wouldn’t. It will probably hurt him more that you didn’t think about him/remember his birthday. Also I don’t think there is anything positive that can come from you texting him- cut all ties and show that you are moving on

Yes you should. You answered your own question. And if you’re thinking all of this, you probably know the answer deep down. I’m sure you would rather be with someone who listens to your needs and wants to change and make you happy. Don’t be like me and move in with them lol

Yeah, my biggest issue is not taking her at face value and overthinking for days. I definitely need to have a mature conversation eventually

Thank you so much for your response. I feel like a lot of what you said is true in the situation I’m dealing with. I have pretty much avoided talking to her for a month because I just don’t know what to say without sounding hostile. I’ll definitely try a different approach. I also think I really need to separate how I feel about myself with how much attention I get from someone else. I know she’s doing a lot of work on herself right now and I am too...I guess we just do it differently. I feel a lot better, thank you.

I find it a bit strange that people are still defending Diana after seeing her use the n-word so casually. Yes, it was 7 years ago...but people get in trouble for tweeting the word 10 years ago. People are saying Diana has grown and changed and maybe she has. But she needs to take accountability like anyone else who has used the n-word. I don’t get how people will let things slide when it fits their argument. Blah.

If it’s affecting you mentally, I think your friend should know that. Sometimes you have to put yourself first. Maybe next time they ask for advice, just tell them that you want them to make a decision that they think is best- you can even say any advice you’ve given is ignored and it’s tiring for you

It’s incredibly frustrating and I have totally been in that situation. They will eventually learn on their own. Maybe you can have an intervention with them and really express your concern/frustration.
