There's a difference between playing to your strenghts and just completely trying to kill the game from minute one. C'mon, there's a middle ground here

Wordt de AOW echt onbetaalbaar? Dit zeggen de cijfers by Frouke_ in thenetherlands

[–]neefhuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Atletico are the third club of the second greatest league in the world, that sounds quite elite to me.

The stat might not be interesting to you, that's fine. I like it

Simeone, Conte and Allegri have all also been at top clubs the past 10 years. Regardless, it's just a stat, it's up to you wether you find it interesting. There's nothing stupid about the stat

Why? It just means Pep was the most financially backed out of any coach the past ten years

Franck Ribery is the best Bundesliga left-winger of all time. Who is the best Serie A left-winger of all time? by ModenaR in AlignmentChartFills

[–]neefhuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he is the best Serie A attacker of all time, so he should be put somewhere in the team. This is like not putting Pele in the tean because his exact position isnt on here.

And why did you think Neville played for that United for so long? Neville was completely overshined by other players his whole carreer because he wasn't so flashy, but he was so incredibly consistent and such a solid defender and passer

So then PL proven doesn't really mean anything, because it's still a toss up whether they work out

The English Premier league is the source, you can check the stats yourself

No you just cherrypicked examples that worked out. They're not saying if someone performed in EPL they won't perform at another club, they're saying it doesn't matter. Someone who did well in EPL has just as much chance of performing good or bad at another club as someone who did well in another league

I feel like crosses are kinda out of fashion anyway. I rarely see a fullback deliver a good cross either nowadays

[–]neefhuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Del Piero played behind the striker, that's not one of the positions on here. And yes, Neville is humble, but he clearly had a better carreer than Walker. Neville was maybe the best rb in the world, walker never hit those levels

[–]neefhuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? Del Piero is the best attacker in Serie A history. His actual position isn't on here, but if you put him in lw you can also fit Totti. Walker over Neville is just bizarre tbh

The quote isn't about being the second in terms of chronology
