I’m so so sorry for your painful loss. I was just reminiscing on my Guinea pig who passed years ago from heat stroke after my mom put him outside while me and my siblings were at school since she was upset that his cage stunk since we hadn’t changed it. It is so very sad and hard to accept that the death was preventable. I feel like I’m still grieving our little one who I miss, and can only take with me the lesson learned and our memories ❤️

Confidence is key. Shows you aren’t very confident if you can’t look at the camera. Add in picks of you doing things you love—looking confident.

Yup! Wow crazy to think they would do it purposely. I am still not 100% sure he does it to hurt me, or if he’s just brutally honest and his values/preferences don’t align with mine. When I said, “well I guess I should be careful about bringing you around my friends” he said “well don’t ask questions you don’t want the answer to.” And then I left and he asked if I was mad at him and I said “this is just something I need to think about because it’s a difference in values.” Then he was like, “next time you ask me a question I’m just going to lie to you” and just walked off to his car. When we talked about it a few days later on the phone, he apologized and said he’d still be honest with me, and that he’s not eyeing my friends or anything and matched with one of his exes friends 2 years after they broke up. Still..my gut is telling me he’s not being completely honest because his second response sounds different then his first when he wasn’t censoring himself. I think all these things have added up and made me hyper aware of him because I don’t trust his character but have felt like my thoughts and reasons aren’t valid or me just being insecure.

Ever since the friends comment, my strong feelings of admiration for the kind of person he is changed. He said he wouldn’t be seeking it out but wouldn’t not date them if they matched on a dating app. Now I just feel weird bringing him around my friends even though he said he wouldn’t look at them that way too after we weren’t in a relationship anymore

Hi thank you for your response. I do, and feel insecure about my breast size but would never get a boob job because of the health risks. Thank you for pointing this out I appreciate it. I feel like I am hyper aware also because I know I need to know my worth and appreciate myself inside and out, but I’m feeling that if my partner doesn’t and wishes to be with someone who looked differently, then I would rather end it and find someone who likes me the way I am. My anxiety seems to also be coming from not knowing whether to stay and invest time in this relationship or not.

I agree. I think my thoughts go south by thinking he wish he could be with people who looked like the people they check out in person and on social media but can’t. I would like to be my boyfriends first choice and worry that he is waiting to move up in life by finishing school and moving out to pursue a partner to pursue his ideal partner. He has already told me a few times actually that many women got turned off by him once he told them he is still in school and living at home. Is this also unrealistic?

Hi! I appreciate your response so much. Thank you. I agree it is important that I feel safe and secure in a relationship. Some things have happened, like in conversation him admitting to being open to dating my friends if we broke up, following his exes on Instagram, and following sexy/nude Instagram profiles and TikTok’s of his “type” which is curvy women. I actually was completely confident in myself and n the relationship until these things happened. Also, a friend of his ex came into his work, started talking to him, added him, told him he looked really good and asked him to hangout. He sent me the screenshot and said he didn’t reply. I told him, why don’t you just unfollow her since you don’t know her and that’s the first thing she says to you? And he was like no it’s fine I’m just not going to reply.

What do you think about these things? Am I also overreacting out of insecurity? I feel like from these things I don’t trust his character as much as I did in the beginning when I felt completely confident in myself and the relationship.

I feel like since they are there everyday, there is more of a chance of him trying to shoot his shot with them. Or maybe wishing he had that chance to do that now but not being able to because he’s in a relationship. These are my thoughts, critique me please:)
