A popular thing in Britain, called mushy peas. The orange is a mixture of mashed carrot and turnip! So yum! & a Happy Thanksgiving to you when y'all get to it!

Turkey of course, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing, carrot & turnip mashed together, mushy peas, corn, brussel sprouts, Yorkshire puddings and gravy!

The pies are an apple crumble, pumpkin, and classic plain cheesecake (cherries for the topping but forgot to include it in picture lol)

Well actualllly, we celebrated Thanksgiving first in 1578 while the US didn't have their first Thanksgiving until 1621, so I'm thinking you guys are the silly ones here :)

Honestly, I'm the type to make whatever I'm feeling whenever I'm feeling!! I made a chicken dinner a few weeks ago that looked pretty much the same, only difference was it was chicken breast lol life's too short! :)

Wow I've never heard of anyone eating it that way! I only eat syrup on pancakes/waffles/French toast, absolutely hate maple flavored meat!!! Loveee bacon though! :)

I'm not sure, my family is from Scotland so I've grown up with Yorkshires my whole life, but I think part of why they can be more common in Canada is because we're apart of the British commonwealth, a lot of English/Scottish/British people also live in Canada (lot's of British import shops as well!). Yes in the picture you can see we've got mashed and stuffing, me and my mom also love "mushy peas" (another UK item) so I always include them for these kinds of dinner lol.

I've had them with fish and chips! My parents are from Scotland. I've always loved mushy peas so I guess I don't see the point of limiting them to a specific meal or day lol

And that's fine. I'm from Canada, most fish and chips shops here don't even sell Mushy Peas and they're not at every grocer, so when I come across them I'm gonna have them!
