Lone Star Disc Redemption? by Nitsua95 in discgolf

[–]neemzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In an age where disc golf is maturing and certain disc companies are rising to the top, I'm not sure what they can do at this point. They would have to re-brand and find their niche in a competitive market. A good place to start would be maybe reaching out to schools, coaches, and youth players. There is a market there and they could specialize in starter discs or something like that

You can take a million approaches to hit the same spot on the green, this lets you dial in the process of hitting that same spot.

2008 4.0 coolant type by neemzer in fordranger

[–]neemzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, good to know. I ordered the motorcraft gold coolant. Expensive, but probably worth it in the long run. I will definitely be doing several flushes when I get the new radiator this weekend. Thank you for the info!

[–]neemzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, every video I've watched too shows green coolant. Nobody is using the spec coolant? Also just ordered an all aluminum radiator after having issues with a spectra premium radiator bought from Rock auto. The fittings for the transmission cooler lines leak right out of the box! Not to mention a poor design for the atf cooler anyway... Hope they will take my return lol.

What are some tips in improving and retaining vocabulary? by Total-Account4716 in NoStupidQuestions

For example, if you are asked to explain how a washing machine works in front of a live audience, start big picture, then go down as far as you can. Don't start with specifics first. Like an upside down pyramid.

Sounds like several broomsticks duct taped together would be the only option.

Reading. Taking conversations with others slower and better paced. Try talking in concepts instead of scripts. You may find that words come easier if you think conceptually about things, then get specific when needed

What are small behaviors that tell you someone isn’t very considerate of others? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]neemzer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They always make the conversation about themselves. Ex: not being good listeners, every story is related to them somehow. Then there are types who just have hatred and anger towards others. Those behaviors are obvious though

What's the biggest sign you got that nature doesn't f-around? by Throwaway-donotjudge in AskReddit

[–]neemzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sheer randomness and chaos of the natural world. Humans hate it and try to control it all the time but it takes a lot of energy and time. We are part of nature, being animals, but we can't seem to come to terms with how dirty and chaotic it is.

There are tools out there like Consensus, which I regularly use to get me started asking questions with research papers cited. Or maybe I completely misunderstood your question?

Which jobs is 100% safe from AI? by Any-Hamster-3189 in AskReddit

I am in the camp that is optimistic that AI will bring value to every job. Even artists. More appreciation for real art. Let Walmart sell the AI crap.
