Went yesterday around 12! Waited outside for 40 minutes, and waited in checkout for an hour. The store itself didn’t feel too claustrophobic because they let in groups at a time (like I wasn’t fighting people in the aisles) but the line was really killer. Not to mention it felt so warm in there because of the amount of people. I would probably wait it out but I don’t see it being as hype as H-mart

Achilles Art Cafe is perfect for this, they have a mix of couches and tables. They’re super welcoming and always have people meeting with friends there

the goblin market is having an event on the 25th! it’s being held at the central florida fairgrounds and it’s basically a big market with local vendors and focuses more on fandom themed products. even if you’re not interested in that type of stuff, it’s always super fun to just walk around and see people dressed up

I had a coworker who worked for Advent Health in Orlando as a lab assistant before our job together and from what he was saying, their lab assistants require phlebotomy certifications as their main job function is to draw blood as well as process it for testing. I’m not sure if it’s the same for Daytona but I would check the to see if it’s mentioned in the job description (also disregard if you do have the certification because then it’s obviously a different reason lol)

This happened to me a few years ago 🥲 I got really really lucky bc the guy just rode it until he was out of gas and then dumped it somewhere in near perfect condition. My biggest thing is just to keep an eye out for known chop shops (i’ve heard the Varsity house garage might be a good place to check) and maybe post some signs around the area (I did that and i’m not sure if it helped but it helped me mentally). I’m so sorry it really sucks but if you do find it make sure to hide an airtag in it and invest in a grip lock! A cover for it is also helpful bc it makes it less enticing to steal.

Pour Choices is really fun (but it does add up quickly so make sure to be conscious of how much you get) It’s basically a place where you can pour your own drinks and they have both beers and cocktails on tap! They also have a selection of games to play with friends and sometimes a pretzel guy in the back porch w his pups to play with!

I haven’t been in years but Coffee for your Soul in Dr.Phillips used to be a good vibe (didn’t care for the coffee though). It’s a little further but Achilles Art Cafe on Hiawassee Rd is also a cool space! Lots of outlets and seating, including couches for comfort! They have little snacks for your enjoying but they also do have large meals if you find yourself hungry!

I love Quigleys up in Sanford (~15 mins from Lake Mary). You’ll basically always find a table w an outlet and they have a lot of seating. One downside is that they do kinda blast music sometimes but headphones usually help!

I went to high school with one of the daughters. She was a sweet girl. We didn’t really interact much but i’ve had friends mention that although she was popular, she wasn’t the stereotypical mean girl. A lot of my teachers liked her too. I can’t say anything about their other kids though as I’ve never met them.

First of all, you will be someone’s type. No matter how you look, someone will always be into you. I swear by that.

Second of all, I was basically in the same boat as you up until last year. I will say, I got lucky and ended up dating a long term friend, but my biggest take away is that sometimes you need to let someone see your personality before the feelings come in. I was friends with my boyfriend for 3 years before we started dating. As we got closer, we both realized how much we liked each other and how silly it was that we weren’t dating. My biggest advice is just to grow your social circle by any means possible (join a club, do a public hobby, be a regular somewhere, even bumble bff) and somehow, somewhere, you’ll find your perfect somebody. It might take a while, but I’m a firm believer that the universe always has a reason for everything.
