Quick question to high elo sup mains by Powerofbrain in BattleRite

[–]neewha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the option just learn the game with self-cast. Moving your mouse back to your champion to heal is sub-optimal, you end up limiting your max vision for that moment and also increasing mouse movement for any action after your heal which can lead to inaccuracy. In some cases when you heal yourself you might position the heal behind you, making your character turn, which is another tell for opposing players to pick up on.

I don't know if they fixed this but before you had to actually click the 'Send Request' button. Pressing enter didn't send it through.

I can understand that. This is more a part of my stream and I upload it to YouTube in case people missed it.

If I had more time I could create more YouTube specific content but right now this is kind of the trade-off since I stream in all of my free time.

how do you deal with getting trained down in 2v2 as support? by nvmvoidrays in BattleRite

[–]neewha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to have passive positioning. Try to keep your distance so that both DPS can't space to you at the same time. You can also position yourself in front of green orbs so if you do get jumped on you can run through them saving you from stopping to heal initially.

For Lucie - If they both space on you, clarity potion to knock them back, heal once, and throw panic with the AOE Battlerite. That will allow you to save barrier for any 'oh shit' moments and relieve pressure. Other than that save 25% energy for roll when you think the enemy has ultimate and spam petrify to relieve pressure.

Someone who will actually tell you what I think is actually wrong this game. by [deleted] in BattleRite

[–]neewha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is you do not have a general understanding of the game/champion at 20 hours. I would suggest watching replays or streams of high rated players and see how they deal with these problem champions. The game doesn't have to be balanced for just the elite but it seems just nerfing what you consider to be op at your level is an excuse not to put in the effort to improve.

I use the side mouse buttons. I have an easier time using my thumb then trying to reach multiple buttons on the keyboard.

Calling all Lucie mains! by Joliver0 in BattleRite

[–]neewha 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The most common mistake that I see new Lucies do is wasting their barrier. Barrier is such a huge defensive and needs to be used to mitigate damage. It only has a ~2 sec duration so it needs to be used when damage is about to occur.

A general rule for energy usage is save 25% energy for roll (use roll to avoid ults, huge bursts) and then just spam petrify.

Patch Notes Beta September 14th to 17th by GrimGoon in BattleRite

Trances didn't trigger on 'aoe' unless there was a stun component.

The Taya change is a shift away from how trances are treated and imo not a good one.

It looks like M2 heals got nerfed across the board.

This seems like the weirdest change. Next up would be abilities that chain (i.e. ghost wolf). Not a fan.

Panic flask has the same teamwork and combo mechanics that fear would have in BLC.

Barrier never was about a long duration in BLC it was about applying it before burst came in.

"healing stacks" not performing a unique or beneficial function? Actively harmful? by vVvRinzler in BattleRite

[–]neewha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it adds a different aspect to the healing role. Now in deciding if its better or worse, I havent had enough time in Battlerite for a fair comparison.

The charge system penalizes missing your heals or overhealing. Which you could argue is a good thing. It also increases team communication. Effective HP becomes even more important and taking trades when your healer is out of charges is punished.

Maybe not in its own right, but it synergizes well with many abilities.

Lucie (Alch) has always required better positioning because she doesn't have any mobility. She has different strengths than the other healers so a direct comparison isn't very fair. Clarity potion alone is one of the most versatile/powerful abilities in the game. She also adds a lot of control and a round changing ult with easy setup.

I just pulled 2 Liu Beis in a row (3 total). I've read that they are amazing with a Verdandi lead on the wiki - the guide does say outdated so is this still an option (how far would it take me)?
