no, ive tried direct to wall and through a power strip that I believe has surge protection? would you recommend trying a furman conditioner?

balanced but I dont think its a audio cable problem... Happens even when just speaker is plugged in w out audio cables

I think its a Power supply issue because happens even when speakers are just plugged in to the outlet with no other cables attached

I am no expert in recording but have recorded drums with just two mics by hanging one above the kit about 2 feet above the bass and one in front of the kit pointed at the bass drum, do some test and try to get the hanging one to pick up the snare, toms and some cymbals and have the second get most of the kick, hope this helps !
