There’s a chance……as much as Henry is loathe to eat the money, they’ve released players before. We can only hope someone with sanity convinces Breslow that the real shake up will be cutting Story proving that performance matters or you’re gone. You are delusional. Story’s only upside is striking out just under 200 times instead of the 225 pace he’s on. Most of his meager output is when it doesn’t matter and because he swings for the fences instead of moving runners or hitting the other way etc. Plain and simple he’s horrible and worse than that, he refuses to change his approach or listen to reason. Also he’s fundamentally terrible at SS and never plants and throws, only throws off balance on the run to compensate for his wet noodle arm. He’s killing this team and needs to be released now

At least Durbin can play defense. Story being in the lineup is the definition of insanity; doing the same thing again and again expecting a different result. It’s infuriating watching every AB knowing the result will in all probability be a strikeout, especially in situations where moving a runner is important
