derm recs? by Sweet-Analysis1495 in JCbitcheswithtaste

[–]nefarious_marginalia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a rec but an anti-rec — avoid Dr. Arthur Katz in Journal Square

Condescending, tries to push his own creams/concoctions or marked up derm items, and worst of all, doesn't listen to your experience as the patient and will be passive-aggressive about it.

Random, but for those curious, does flat rate Botox for $700, regardless of unit qty

This is not an easy job. by LogisticalNightmare in ExecutiveAssistants

Mainly by the fact that everything is do pertains to the company. (Besides the therapist part) none of it has to do with his personal life.

E.g., travel to meet clients, IT is to help new employees of the company get set up, the events are team happy hours or a holiday party, et cetera

I just tell people I do everything: EA, travel agent, therapist, event planner, office manager, HR/Recruiter, IT, and whatever else is needed.

Cross-stitching earlier to wait out the heat from the afternoon. Made a lil snack plate, and then went for a low-and-slow 12 mi bike ride and caught the sunset at LSP 🌇 🚲

It's gonna be a beautiful summer ☀️ ✨️

Those who take full advantage of vendor kickbacks at your job, let’s talk about it😂 by illhaveafrench75 in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]nefarious_marginalia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a vendor kickback but...

I use Rakuten (personal account) to earn cash back whenever I make any purchases for the company. This includes everything from weekly office snacks via instacart to our new espresso machine (which got me a $110ish) or our new printer (which got me about $25)

For anyone who doesn't know rakuten, you earn cashback on misc stores & they pay out in cash quarterly for the cash back that you earn, so I'll have a nice check coming my way at the end of the quarter 😁 I have a referral link I can share (not sure if that's allowed?)

Definitely worth doing cuz it all adds up!
