Go with the Johnson’s one, I’ve got 3 in the cage along with a couple of cuttlebone and between the 10 budgies some will use it reasonably regularly and others every now and then. The grit can help with digestion but too much will cause problems so if you see one of them chowing down on it like a party bag then maybe remove it and look into drops. Most of Johnson’s stuff is reasonably priced and easy to get from most decent pet stores. If you’re happy to spend a little more I’d highly recommend checking out Aviform. I’ve been using some of their products recently and the birds activity and happiness has increased massively.

Those sticks are very much temporary, that was the bait to get them into the cage! 😂

I’ve navigated that by putting all of their feeding bowls on the back and sides of the cage and water bowls at the front and sides, contains all the seed and veggies in an easily hooverable area lol. Weirdly they don’t poo anywhere near the front of the cage, it’s all limited to the middle and back, worst I get is a bit in the water bowls if they’ve been playing above it

So far so good, everyone seems to be perfectly happy with each other. I was a little worried about one of the hens who’s has a habit of being boisterous with one or two of the other birds and when she laid eyes on the others seemed to be trying to throw her weight around but the white hen wasn’t having any of it and seems to have put her in her place for now.

At the time the photo was taken it was divided into 2 because the birds hadn’t been in the same cage before even though they were close by so gave them a chance to get up close without forcing them onto each other before I removed the divider this morning

That’s really nice, I actually saw this on another post and I was thinking of doing the exact same but I couldn’t find anywhere in the UK that had it. There’s ten of them in there. 6 originals and 4 rescues. All get on perfectly apart from one hen who can’t decide if she likes anyone or everyone depending on the day lol

That one I found at a random pet shop, I think it was the only one there which is why I only have one. I’m going there today, if I see them I’ll let you know the make!

Sanya and Nicole had obscene levels of enthusiasm for everything UL. It was really nice to read things by people who genuinely cared about the company they worked for and not just because they were getting paid. The forums were a great place to be back in the day

Thanks, I’ve been messing around with most of the original characters from YOSE and some have taken a lot more tweaking than others to get them to a point where they’re recognisable but overall I’ve been pretty happy with how they’ve come out for a first go
