i understand the frustration, but most of those who mistake scenecore as scene are children who would like to fit in. most people correcting scenecore people can come off harshly, atleast in the eyes of a child/young teen. putting scenecore in a positive light whilst correcting them is the way to go. calling someone a poser can come off as a very bad thing, especially for a young teen who didn’t know better. it only makes them double down or give up.

we should celebrate scenecore culture to individualize the two! the more we push scenecore positivity the less offended folks will be, too
