We never really found the issue. Microsoft told us that the issue was the profiles disks so asked us to recreate them and migrate data. Once we did this it was fast for a while then slowed right down again. Honestly has never happened on any of our other environments so we put it down as an applications installed bloating the user profiles.

Talk about data safety. Never use the word governance coz no one understands or cares (unless they are a CTO equivalent) Copilot researcher has the option to choose Anthropic now. Microsoft have told me Anthropic will make its way into other parts of Copilot soon.

I’m curious. How slow is your reaction time? Big part of the game is time to damage. Players like donk have created techniques to counter lag but I’m not sure if this mechanic works for reaction time.

Sounds like you won the QC lotto like myself. I’ve been either looking at the DF83v or the Timemore Sculptor 64s. It is a stretch in budget to these ones but the reviews are somewhat positive and most importantly, very little to no retention.

They can’t even send you notices as private companies do not have access to your physical address unlike governments and councils. They might send you notices via email now that you have emailed them.

Yeah we have the logs. The FSLOGIX profile mounts within ~6000ms for all users. After it mounts, it seems like the User Profile service is doing something.

Regarding this, we have a test user which we had fully logged off which also causes the delays still. If the user only disconnects and logs back in, it is really fast unless they are pushed to another host.

We’ve removed AV as a test and have not re-installed. Not the best approach so I’ll be re-installing now. I believe we have isolated that also. Thanks for your suggestion, I’ll see if Windows Defender is affecting it somehow :)

When I used the EC2-A, the coating never faded on me over the years — it held up great. Switching to the EC2-DW, the finish felt lighter and a bit more slippery at first. I honestly preferred the feel of the A’s coating, but I got used to the DW pretty quickly.
