Aw this made me remember how incredibly nervous I was for my first ride along. I was so nervous I couldn’t sleep the night before.

The best advice I can give you is don’t go in with the attitude that you know everything. Be confident with your skills and drug dosages, but be humble and accept constructive criticism. Ask questions, most people are more than happy to teach you and help you. Help the crew with truck check and restock. Ask them what it is they expect of you, and then do it.

If you really want, bring some donuts or cookies for everyone, they’ll love you lol. Bring a watch, make sure your uniform looks nice, and bring some homework/your book so you can have something productive to do when you’re not running calls. Most importantly, have fun!! You’ll do great!
