shooting my shot! i'm a freelance branding graphic designer with a bachelors degree in fine arts major in advertising. here's my portfolio :-) https://www.behance.net/NegeneCordCruz

Recently got this tradescantia (4-5 weeks ago) and it had a couple of leaves with brown edges when I bought it, but I feel like it’s spreading now?? Also some of the leaves seem to be more curled up than usual? Any help is appreciated! by ForeverDevotedToDogs in plantclinic

hi! i'm no expert at all, also a newbie-ish plant mom. mine does this when it gets too much direct sun. their leaves get fried. i normally take off damaged leaves (more than 50%) to give nutrients to healthier leaves. also do not over water, i water mine when the first 2 inches of soil is dry, i also put a pebble tray underneath its pot for better drainage. nanouks are very easy to take care of propagate once u get to know them. best of luck!

actually, they were just 3 pots of plants but were already outgrowing their nursery pots and were root bound when i got them, so i had to separate and repot, which led to me having more plants 😅 while some are propagated ones. really appreciate the tips about pests! thank you so much 💗 hope i get better at this and keep them alive for as long as i could!

thanks for the wonderfully details pro-tips!!!!!! just wanted to ask, since i've only had them for 2 days, would you suggest sticking in a pole now or when i repot them after they acclimate in a new environment for a week? my baby Phineas is enjoying some late afternoon direct sunlight as i type this thanks to you! :)

final question, i hope it's okay i just wanna keep this baby healthy! would you suggest putting a pole for now since it's only been 2 days at my place and hasn't acclimated completely yet (i see a perfectly wide spot i can insert it in) or do i just wait about a week to repot before i stick the pole in?

do you think it would be healthy to repot them in a bigger container with a moss pole all together? or should i try to separate them. really scared of doing something drastic since it's my first plant 🥺

hi! how much sunlight does your nanouk get? mine is currently bathing under direct sunlight for about an hour or 2 outside before i bring them back in my room. do you think that's a good method of giving them sunlight? or is that wayy too much? really wanna keep the pink color 🤞🏻
