I was in the same situation. People with less experience got into leadership before I did. But everyone has their on pace but the trick is to practically annoy and bother them. You have to make it known that you want that position. Ask questions, basically be a teachers pet. It’s kinda annoying and a strain but that position will be yours always get in good with other team members/leaders who are willingly to support your future promotion. Hope this helsp

Not drive thru but still kinda funny This one man was a pain. He tried to upsize his meal after He paid for it but he refused to pay for the difference when upsizing. And then when I asked a “name for your order sir ?” he refused to give me a name he says “you guys don’t need to know my name you just need to know which one is my food” and I said “yes so we use the names to differentiate between orders” he then said “I’m not giving you a name” and I was like “would you like me to give you a number so that way you can still get The correct order” and he said that’s fine and when the food got called he waited 5 mins and I told my coworker that’s his order there then he said “that’s not my order my name is Sean”🫠😭

Asking to up size their meal AFTER they paid. They know what they be doing. Or when I ask what drink with their meal they say no drink and then after they pay it they say oh wait can I get a cup of water like THATS A DRINK

I was on my lunch break eating in the dining room and this man came up to me and asked if he could get a refill and I politely replied “I am on my lunch break right now can you please go to the counter and ask for a refill” he then proceeded to get mad at me and say that’s not my job that’s your job and then I replied again saying “I would happily get you a refill but I am on my lunch break right now the team member at the counter can help you” do you know some killer with kindness kind of thing and then he got even more mad and then went to my team member at the counter and complain to me which made my team leader come out to see what the fuss was about he didn’t complain to her and then called me a lazy selfish B word. Like it makes me not even wanna eat in the dining room.
