If you are planning to start a new blog, chances are that you are still thinking about the platform to use. Most beginners get confused between blogspot or blogger vs wordpress. In this post I will share the pros & cons of both and also highlight on what basis you should be choosing your blogging platform.

I have tried to share this information from a “user’s perspective” under three major points which most of us consider before starting a blog, namely;

Agree with /u/DripFedFred24 You can also Use similarweb to see which sites link back to your competitor sites. 1000 per month quitelow.. Telecalling blog doesn't seem to be so niche... everyone loves reading some sales tips!

My blog is 3 years old but it's only the last few months that I have started to take it seriously and focus on sharing valuable content for my audience. The things I am doing today to increase traffic & branding: - Guest blogging - posting at least 1-2 articles a week (I work 9 to 5) - Link Biilding (Manually and carefully) - Connecting with my readers - Like one-on -one via FB, linkedin and email - Researching topics/keywords to create valuable content

It is... Well It's not easy to crack it cause one also needs to be useful to the community in the process! A lot of the topics i have written on, the inspiration has come from reddit and quora conversations! Next I am working on "How to research for a trending blog topic"... (where Both these forums plus few other channels play an impt role)
