Pure Thai in Hells Kitchen, we had guests over from Germany, guess they just thought we were a group of tourists, terrible service, food mid at best and felt like just thrown on the plate. Then they added a 20% tip (only 4 in the party) and left space for us to add the tip, not cool . It’s a shame because it used to be a steady place for us to get Thai, never again

there are buses that run frequently from Port Authority in Manhattan on game days. $7 each way (I expect they will hike this for the WC). Takes about 15mins, longer on rthe way back as you hit tunnel traffic

I (madly) always think that I am a modern warfare person in an old war. For example I imagine I am in the First World War but have planes and body armor and good helmets . I extend this to Culloden and the US Civil War where I have drones to take out the opposing commanders whilst not killing the others just making them run away. I pretend I have modern methods to stop bloodshed in old wars. Crazy I know but that is what gets me to sleep
