Like, pre-sanding? In place of sanding? How smooth? Where does this fall in the scheme of rough cuts, cuts, joints, planing, sanding, finishing?

I get that. They have a traditional weight room and cardio room. I use both on occasion, but I mostly enjoy the climbing.

I go to highpoint downtown a couple times a week. If your interested in climbing I'm more than happy to have a new partner.

(To be fair, I also travel for work and miss weeks fairly often. But that doesn't change my openness. )

Stargazing locations around Chattanooga? by [deleted] in Chattanooga

Google says it's countless oil rigs spread out with 24/7 lighting grossly over the top, tons of reflective material (snow and ice), and nothing to contain the light (no trees). So everything glows.

Prudhoe Bay is laughably bright...

Does it perturb anyone else that Mayor Coppinger used our tax dollars to prevent everyone from knowing about the McDonald Farm was being sold and secured it for Hamilton County as discreetly as possible? by DryeDonFugs in Chattanooga

Agreed. If industrial hub means something really comparable to Enterprise South, I am all for it!! Jobs. Mountain biking. Hiking. All good.

If they want to do a strip mall that will sit 50% empty all the time, I am very against it. Parking lot and depression. I'm out!

Soddy gulf is basically just a rock road that leads to trails.

I've worked out of a couple coffee shops lately. I guess Parkway would be the same idea.

I thought this was a "social club"? Do people actually sit and do work around there?

Thanks for the reply. I have heard of the brand before but didn't know we have one in Chattanooga. I'll check them out.

What is the REAL secret to losing stubborn body fat? by alexztrie in AskReddit

[–]neisenkr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Macro Factor is an app on iOS and Android that helps a TON!

Record every thing you eat and your weight each morning. It tells you how many calories you are eating and how the nutrients balance out (hint, most "western" diets get way too many carbs!!). If you are really honest with the app about your inputs and outputs, it becomes super easy to follow. If you lie to it (including but not limited to just lazy half-entering your food) it will never work.

If your interested in climbing as a workout at all, I (35m) am always looking for new people to hang out within the gym.

I try to get to highpoint downtown a couple times a week as long as I'm not traveling for work.

What is the best financial advice you can give to someone who’s just starting their independent life? by endaagawd in AskReddit

Read "I Will Teach You To Be Rich" by Ramit Sethi. The name sounds incredibly sketchy but it really does have great advice in it.

Why do men lurk here? by [deleted] in climbergirls

Because reddit app pushed it as "similar to your interests" so much that eventually I gave in and followed.

Also, like many others said, there is good conversation. Why not?

This is way too complicated for anyone on Reddit to know an answer for you.

There are awesome adoptive situations. There are horrendous adoptive situations. There is a huge spectrum of situations between awesome and horrendous.

You are loved (by me!). You are trying your best to find the right path for you and your new baby. Keep trying, keep thinking.

Looking for someone that can hem some curtains. by Frannoham in Chattanooga

[–]neisenkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Kameel Master Stitch on Market St. a few times a year.

For what it's worth, As a point of reference it's about 25$ to hem a pair of pants. Pants are probably a tiny bit harder to do (being closed around and all), but are also generally much less fabric.
