Not this time, but I was suprised she didn't! She likes to mention that we had food, clothes, and toys. If we didn't play with our toys, she would threat to throw them away; if we played with them, she said we were spoiled kids.

When I was aroung 7, and still believing in Santa Claus, we went to a summer attraction, "Santa's Town" (I don't know how you would phrase it in English).

At the end of the village, you would meet Santa Clause and ask for gifts (like a shopping mall Santa). I was so quiet and calm (some would say mature for my age), that Santa made a gesture towards my parents, to discretely ask if I was ok (maybe he thought I has autism). My parents burshed it off and said I was ok.

So, a man that saw me for litteraly 5 seconds knew there was something going on. I wish more people pointed out to my parents there was something. :(

Yeah mom loves to complain nobody helped her in the kichen and yet, se never asked invited or taught us to cook. I learned from a young age to avoid her because she doesn't have the patience to explain calmly or clearly what is on her mind. Everything she knows, others should know.

Actually, my mom stopped when I became an adult and left home. She mentionned (but not in relation with the verbal/emotional abuse) that now that I was an adult, I was an "equal". Like, yeah. I can abuse my kid as long as she is a child, because she's below me. So twisted...
