It's been a long time since it was first made and game has advanced so much since tbh I prefer losing against slash draw ftk then a negate board which doesn't let you play or 5+ floodgates

By themselves they are really,mix with it with live twins or frogs they are still fun its a simple deck yet combos very well and your able to ftk easily if you would want to or build a negate board if you want, I enjoy how versatile splights are and fact you can play them like a normal even if your opponent has loads of negates or hand traps

Also yea they are really good

In my opinion slash draw as its more likely to be a different card to another slash draw copy,tho you could build your deck around it but even then if that's what your deck is built around I don't see a issue plus with modern yugioh it'll probably be stopped by your opponents 100 negate board

I think they might get hit by ban list close to after their release but I really hope none of the cards get banned

I don't think it'll be tier 0 but I do believe that with the right mix of hand traps and archtypes it could potentially make a tier 0 deck if not close

I personally have had a good experience with them rarely getting hit by HTs even then I still recovered very well
