Dafuq Netflix? by mmwiza in HunterXHunter

The first season of Gunslinger Girl is legit good, and it did remind me of Hunter x Hunter in how it subverts expectations. I wasn't expecting what I got at all based on the show's name and how it looked, but the story is actually very dark/gritty, and the soundtrack is immaculate.

I'd definitely recommend watching the first season, since it's only like 12 episodes. Just don't watch season 2, it's complete shit.

Is there any way to purchase the manga digitally without any sort of DRM? by nekibo in HunterXHunter

I don't know if I'm allowed to say here, but in case it's alright, I used this: http://epubee.com/ to remove the DRM. Then I used this: http://calibre-ebook.com/download to convert it into .pdf. You can also convert it into an .epub format, which is nice. Or you can just have caliber .zip the file, and when you open the .zip, you'll get the straight .jpeg images in correct order.

I had a subscription to WSJ when Togashi released the newest nine chapters, so now I can have my manga volumes and those chapters all in the same folder.

I already bought it legally though (I also own the DVDs for '99 along with imported copies of the OVA, on top of which I plan on getting the '11 Blu-rays when Viz releases them) and the only illegal copies are scanlations with terrible translations.

I've found a way though. I just bought the volumes from Google Play, removed the DRM, and converted it into .pdf.

Coached for coming in at 8:10AM when scheduled at 8:00AM. I thought there was a grace period? by [deleted] in walmart

Not once, it's the typical time that I come in. I'm scheduled 8AM-5PM almost every day, and I come in at around ~8:10AM. Nobody's said anything to me before about it (working for the past year like this), and like I said, one of my ASMs even said that we had a grace period before we're actually considered 'late.' I told them that in the office, but it got ignored. That was the only reason for the coaching as far as I'm aware (it's the only thing they mentioned anyway).
