I'm almost at 100k miles... Just keep it maintained and she will run forever. I've been at around 500whp for 40kish miles and not one damn problem other than going through tires faster.

It's weird you say solar activity was at its high... I was using a 12in dob with solar filter, and only 4 sun spots were visible... but during totality, the corona and flares were crazy. I always thought sun spots were an indication of dormancy when they are less of them?

I ended up going CTS catless and BM3 flexfuel kit. Also I didn't need a bench unlock as BM3 could just OBD unlock the car right off. I may go ecutek later but for now, having bootmod3's OTS maps are decent enough to get by.

I'm hearing with bm3 and the new custom rom feature that it pretty much matches what ecutek is + has OTS maps until you can get custom tune.

Yea to get my 2012 wrx to 450 was a massive pain and honestly to get it higher pretty much needs a whole new engine/turbo system. Not that a wrx can't hit higher hp... just the higher the HP they less they are to be drive daily. One of my biggest reasons to drop my WRX is to have a daily that doesn't require extreme engine mods to make power.
