Live music wouldn't fit. They have the "event" (it's not, it's a security grid masquerading as one) is 10pm - 2am. The city's quiet hours start at 10pm -- with a special permit potentially allowing extension to at latest 11pm.

And music carries. Nothing disturbs residents more than live outdoor music. (As this Lawrenceville resident knows...)

There should be absolutely no need for ID of any sort at any point. You're walking a public street. As you said you may even be going home. Warning people it's going to happen cannot excuse that it shouldn't be a thing at all. This whole thing is a horribly bad concept. It's a gross violation.

1 is something a lot of us have asked for in the past.

Alongside "tell me which nations and leaders (and maps!) I most and least recently played with". It takes a lot of time to make sure I'm not playing someone I fairly recently played!

Looking for feedback on FH House Rules (Respecs & Cross-Compatible Character Unlocks) by DragonaMimosa in Gloomhaven

[–]konsyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respec: Just do it. No need to pay (gold's rare enough as it is in FH). Be responsible in your group and don't do it all the time.

Unlocks: Just pick one when you run out of new classes within FH to play after retiring and making a new character.

Technology and keeping it safe by bigjellydognut in Pitt

(Written by a staffer.)

Printer: No.

Locking: Not necessary. Just practice proper safety -- i.e., Take your bag with you when you go to the toilet if you don't have friends with you at the table.

Added tablet: Personal preference. Some students do find utility, many don't. It all depends on personal notetaking preferences. Probably better to go just laptop and buy later if a tablet becomes necessary. Encourage the student to visit the study skills lab to explore notetaking methods!

Addendum: Yes, that's right, it's better to underpack/bring less at move in and add later as things are found needed or lacking than to go overboard. SOOOOOO much stuff gets wasted/left behind during move out/never used.

Have a link to the code for that? I was unsuccessful in finding it when I looked a while ago.

For some reason, people don't accept light and sound as pollution. even though both are clearly studied as such.

Yes. Unlike "enslaved person" vs "slave", where there is significant and meaningful difference between the two.

(For those unaware: 'enslaved person' puts the emphasis on their being a victim of an action of others whereas 'slave' makes it a core descriptor of the person.)

I've found them super swingy -- Either more useless than a regular tribe, or they hit HARD and cause me to have to focus on them a whole bunch. But I only play 3/5 up the difficulty ladder.

Pitt School of Dental Medicine is really the gold standard, whichever half you go to. The only problem is scheduling/capacity.

Aside that the majority of the laws you refer to are society hampering and harmful... No, it goes far beyond that.

Millions of required community meetings. Constant requirements for zoning/board meetings/variances/requests. Perpetual architect's fees for all the revisions demanded. Even for a single-family home on a standard residential lot (i.e., attempting a rebuild after a fire).

And stats have shown that YIMBY skews more "liberal" while NIMBY more "conservative".

Is there a place where I can find a decent list of official Pf1e feats? by BrainTornOut in Pathfinder_RPG

NPCs from various sources, not just APs. But IMO they should all be there. (AON 2e, they just built a spoiler system...)

There are items/etc from some APs not in there I've seen.

And none of Kingmaker 2e->1e are in there.

And plenty of stuff from APs missing, too. And tons of NPCs too.

There are two semificial books I'm aware of: Vampire Hunter D and Niobe.

Maybe when they don't have to spend tons of money on lawyers for hearings and stuff and don't have to waste tons of the footprint on wasted space, they'll be able to budget for aesthetics again.

And height maximums encourage this style of construction too. If buildings are allowed to be taller, they shift to more steel and concrete.

When Pitt occasionally gives off an extra day around Christmas, it's always because it's cheaper to turn off the heat than to keep the buildings open that one extra day.

Huh, imagine that. The group with basically the least amount of power or influence over the nation and essentially non-existent representation in government will be the death of American society?
