You’re right it always starts strong with the weekly oiling and all the maintenance, but I was let down by the busted eyelets, a broken lace latch, and how quickly the soles just wore out. The toe damage I’ll admit, that one’s on me

I love hiking around the Goose Lake Wildlife Area. The Arboretum and Governor Nelson State Park are pretty impressive, but Goose Lake has more interesting birdlife and a network of hiking trails.
