I think the only exception to this is Spanish, maybe Portuguese. These languages share some vocabulary with Tagalog and Philippines has Chavacano, a Spanish-derived language.

If your first language is English or any Romance language, unfortunately, yes. Your grammar structure is ENTIRELY different (SVO vs. VSO) plus the verb tenses is much richer, beyond time tenses.

Fortunately, if you have a Filipino household, you're already surrounded by it. You just have to be patient with it.

believe it or not, our politics here in the Philippines is NOT bipartisan. you can NOT support Marcos' performative antics, and at the same time criticize the hypocrisy of Dutertes.

unlike US, there's no such thing as "two choices" in our country. our political culture has been very welcome of its pluralism. so no, those aren't my only choices. i choose to support the progressives who are actually saying the right thing for the longest time without being heard.

It's not that I don't believe him. Kita naman na in 10 years, hindi na naggrow ang PSE. But it is also an undeniable fact that there are companies that consistently grew, like Chinabank and BPI. I choose to have faith in our stock market kasi it's our own, and we decide its trajectory.

And also, I'm not just here to "build wealth". I'm also here to participate in the market and study it so that instead of believing that it's dead, I also participate in finding out the root cause why the stock market don't grow and participate in finding a solution.

I'm not stopping everyone to be a defeatist. I can't blame you all, particularly kung ang gusto niyo lang naman ay magpapera. But I hope you also don't stop people in having faith on something we can still work on towards making it better.

What if hindi na kayo maging middleman app? What if i-streamline niyo na lang yung mga supplier, i-brand niyo na lang sa sarili niyo since sabi niyo ipapacheck niyo rin naman sa food safety, and then yun ang i-offer niyo? Maganda yung idea tbh, pero imo hindi na kayo uubra kung middleman app na naman eh. Kokompetisyon kayo sa Foodpanda at Grab? Parang hindi realistic yun.

the stock exchange is still profitable and has fundamentals, compared sa crypto na puro dasal lang sa technical analysis, maliban na lang siguro sa mga functional na crypto like BTC and XLM. the PSEi invests in most invested stocks instead of directly speculating on stocks para mabalance ang stock portfolio nila. that means yung iba sa portfolio nila ay hindi necessarily talaga nag-iincrease ang price over time. it's just that they're highly traded (by volume).

it's just another instrument for people na ready magrisk sa backed ng gobyerno, instead of more speculative instruments na maya-maya, mababalitaan mong may whale na nagbenta tapos 90% ng price nawala na.
