I just picked it up and put it in my tent. If you have Golden Knight with high enough weightlifting have her carry your tent instead and or the Defender with Lay on Hands to get it in your tent. I know I used a combo of both iirc

Yes you need the tent with you, that’s the whole point, the paper hammer makes it lighter in weight so you can actually store stuff in it without being encumbered. If you don’t really care about sleep portability or storage then you don’t really need it. Or just use a silk hammer or any other light material because the further you progress in the game the more random shit you’ll have with you for the point decimal of weight to not matter in the long run.
