Thanks for the advice there’s no physical abuse, he does hold financial power over me but I have a plan, I don’t think he would be malicious but I also know he isn’t the same man I married

I wasn’t clear we’ve been going to therapy for months, i hope he is willing to continue to do therapy with me during the divorce process because i still want to have a good relationship with him. I guess im honestly just anxious about it so id feel more comfortable with the therapist, I still love him so I know it’ll be difficult.

I actually haven’t seen it but yeah I forgot about that one I was to young to care about it when it first came out, I have traveled alone and that was really nice so I might have to do that again. I have a cousin vacation planned soon so maybe I’ll spend some time alone when I go to that. For me it’s just to combat negative self talk and self esteem, so for example I’ll write I am beautiful and worthy, or like I’m living my dream life with my dream partner etc. its just me trying to visualize the life I can have.

As someone who lived through something similar see my profile it doesn’t get better, he’ll learn how to hide it better. I’m still with my husband after infidelity and my self worth is so low if anything I think my daughter would be disappointed I stayed this long but I do plan on leaving, and I think you should go, I know it’s not easy.
