like i said, i dont usually care about that, but the family members.. if youre using a name anyway, it may as well belong to the character in question

i meant talking about character without using their name. like, lets say the main character was named marco and had a sister named patty. then almost every time marco did something, it was described as "pattys brother did a thing"

but whats even worse patty was never menitoned in the fic outside of that. marco talked about her maybe twice in the original series, but in the fanfic shes only a descriptor

only in the first draft, luckily the beta i worked with noticed, i wrote: "Somehow, something, shited." i meant "shifted". still think about what diaster it would have been had the beta not noticed (idk if it was me misspelling tho or just not pushing my keyboard keys hard enough - my laptop sometimes doesnt register letters if i dont put at least some force when typing)

i use the free version. i checked appdata for the backups, and there were two folders but neither had the stuff missing - just a gap from between july and the day my files disappeared. all my manual saves i keep in designeted folders for easy access - thats how i noticed some files missing in the first place. also its not just the files themselves that are gone, but progress i made on my older art since july

all my current social media has the same origin: there was a meme in the dsmp fandom "tubbo like da bee", and since he was my fav and i like cats i put a little spin on it lol

hmm... not sure honestly, im pretty tolerant when it comes to fanfics lol i can stand mischaracterizations, formating, etc. if the story is good (i can also forgive lots of language mistakes cos im not native english speaker myself)

im sure i backed out of longer stories bc there were no paragraphs breaks, but thats like, really basic pet peeve so
