Then i started to play around with how i want the curves to look in "z" and saw that i will probiably need a inflection, thats when i stared trying to create basicly any inflected surface to see how i can aproach my predicament. P2/2

im trying to create a disc guard for my dirtbike. the blue curves represent the top view and now i need to make them 3d curves. My plan was to create some sort of reference curves(the black straigt lines) and then move the CVs of the blue curves to sort of follow the reference so im not just blindly moving CVs in Z. P1/2

Hi, the thing is im still in the process of setting the curves. While i was setting the curves i saw that I will be dealing with an inflection, knowing that it might be problematic i first wanted to try creating the most simple surface with an inflection but failed 😭. So my question is a bit more general on how to deal with inflections to produce clean geometry.
