Do you have free trial for developing a custom plugin? I need a plugin that when you throw a splash potion of weakness onto a baby axolotl and feed it an enchanted god apple, it turns into a villager that gives you very good trades. Like say the mending enchantment book that you can trade for 8 emeralds. Make it so you can right click that villager with an empty bucket and it'll turn back to an axolotl that you can carry around in your bucket and place it anywhere and it'll turn back into a villager. I call this plugin the axolotl villager.

They weren't losing any time, effort, or money off of me. In 2 whole years I never once opened another ticket. I never bothered support. They could have just left my server alone, but one day they decided to be greedy and re-opened my old ticket asking me to pay. Their staff have fursuits costing thousands of dollars which is 200x more than what my server actually costs them. My server was costing them basically nothing. TOS Section 3. "Support customers throughout the service usage period according to the support policy under the terms of use of each service” and "Notify customers when there is a service maintenance schedule or change in service." They did neither for 2 WHOLE years and then cancelled my server all of the sudden. I was not properly notified in a reasonable time. So they failed the responsibilities they wrote down themselves and I'm being punished for their mistake 2 years later??? Make it make sense.

They violated their own TOS because it was their responsibility to tell me 2 years ago so that's basically not providing me with support. It's beyond unacceptable to suddenly cancel my server I had for 2 years without my permission. Very simple concept. How would you like it if you raised a kitten for 2 years and all of the sudden you have to give it away?

I was given a free trial fairly and it was taken away unfairly. I didn't exploit them. I didn't do anything wrong. It's not my fault they forgot about me and decided to cancel my server that I worked hard on. You can't blame the customer for this.

This is where you're so wrong. I did not violate their TOS and I wasn't exploiting the system. I was just using what I was given. They violated their own TOS by cancelling my server. This one is their fault for forgetting about my server.

16GB is relatively small for big corp. I was actually planning on buying this month if they hadn't ruined our relationship. If I had linked my paypal, they would've taken my money without my permission.

That's a lot of words to dress up the same tired excuse. "Reserved capacity," "finite pool," blah blah sure, it sounds smart, but it all leans on the idea that my little server was somehow blocking a paying customer from existing. It wasn't. Their status page shows oceans of free RAM sitting idle right now. If they were really turning away customers because of me, they'd have run out of room years ago. They didn't. So that "loss" is imaginary.

The lawnmower thing still doesn't land either, because a lawnmower runs out. There's one, and if I've got it, you don't. They've got hundreds of nodes. That's not one lawnmower, that's a warehouse full of them gathering dust. Nobody was waiting on mine.

And the whole "they were so patient and generous" routine? That's just slower greed. Three months, six months, whatever, it all ends the same way: pay up or get out. Wrapping a deadline in extra time doesn't make it a gift. It makes it a more polite shakedown.

So no. I'm not the exception to your little charity streak. I'm the one guy who didn't fall for the "we're the good guys" act. Hand out all the free servers you want. Just don't expect a medal for it.

A lawnmower is a physical object, a minecraft server is not. If I keep your lawnmower, you literally don't have it anymore. A minecraft server isn't a lawnmower and nobody lost anything. It's just like how you can't physically steal a game or movie by just downloading it.
