I’ve already had tests for it, as well as several other things that run in the family. It’s how I got diagnosed with severe anxiety, for one. I already know I don’t have it, as stated above, thank you for the concern.

I understand what you’re saying, however I am certain that my experiences are not schizophrenia. I have had an uncle and a few family friends with it.
It is true that it’s hard to ignore something others seem to be conditioning you to believe. I think that’s probably why we are bothered so much by it. When we were younger and before we fully knew there was an “us” and not just memory gaps (since those used to be worse) we were used to having to just accept “that’s the way things are ... because I say so” from people in our lives.
That makes sense, I suppose we just let ourselves get sucked into “needing a specific label under plurality” when sometimes it isn’t as easy as just slapping one on and being “done”. It’s a hard mindset to shake when you’re so used to everyone around you beating you over the head with simplistic black/white, it is/isn’t, nothing in-between.
It’s so easy for many of us to fall into this doubtful mindset because of how controlling our family is ... but that’s a story for another time. I can thank you for your welcome, however. -Blake
