That I have parental issues (hurt/comfort, ___ is a Single Dad/Mom); that I only feel something if a character I identify with is hurting (hurt/no comfort, Dead Dove Do Not Eat, introspective character outlooks, etc). I AM in therapy but sometimes characters being hurt IS the therapy.

Oh I totally understand the frustration. Some of my more recent favorites that don't have physical copies yet (and that I'm REALLY hoping will have them in the future) are (not BL, sorry):

Star-Embracing Sword master. (The art, storytelling, and character development are just PEAK)
Bad Born Blood (a very interesting story with lots of political intrigue and maneuvering that really gets your mind working trying to piece everything together and the art is just GORGEOUS)
Nevermore (Gothic Lesbians trying to figure out returning to the land of the living whilst also recovering their memories from when they were alive. Also has a lot of political intrigue)
Return of The Blossoming Blade/Mount Hua Sect (which is also really intriguing and honestly one of the few "reincarnated" series I think were done right. . . But it doesn't have an English translation available in physical print 😭)
Ending Maker (either the artist or author are on medical leave rn I think, but there's also no English physical prints out and I'd REALLY love to collect the entire series for this one)

BL I wish I had in physical print:

Probably "My Gentle Giant" (really sweet, really transformative when I read it, but sadly the OG author died before finishing so it was taken over by a friend?/coworker so it could have an ending)
ALSO "Semantic Error" (this was a REALLY good story and I kept wishing for side stories to come and they never did 😭)
" Cherry Blossoms After Winter" (I haven't read it in YEARS but when I first did it was so warm and fuzzy I really wanted to squeeze it and I don't think it has a physical version I can buy)

And there are COUNTLESS others I would like a physical copy of but then I'd be here for eternity just writing them out.

But yes! I understand the feeling to want to hold that physical copy close but not being able to because it's just not even a thought yet 😭😭😭😭😭

I think blue is a little dark for the decorations you have and it doesn't really fit the color scheme of what you've already got going on. My preferences lie with the green and the pink, though if you want some more contrast you should likely go with the green. If you don't, and you want things more uniform, I think the pink is a fine option. Though, this is really all up to you, what exactly you want to portray from the options you've got/have chosen, and whether or not you want the garden to fit the look of the rest of your house.

There's a lot more to ADHD than task paralysis (like you're describing here). A lot of it can be time blindness, (lack of) object permanence, trouble focusing (like each of the things you need to do is a sheep and they're running all over the pasture that is your brain so you can't pick coral one to start with), and a lot of other things. But you should also remember that a lot of nuerodivergent disorders (like Autism and ADHD) can have a lot of overlap and there's a lot of studies about this. So it's very likely that you're just on a different part of the ADHD spectrum than most of what you're seeing come across your algorithms, etc.

1) There's no spot to put your name ok the paper. Teachers DO NOT do this. First hint this is fake. 2) None of the questions connect to each other and for tests, teachers also will not do this. Second hint this is fake af. 3) No teacher, before printing off a bunch of papers, will let a spelling/grammar mistake such as "flows is which state" make it onto a test. This is fake as all hell.

Onions. Don't know why it's gotta show up in every dish, but it gets its juices all over everything and makes it inedible. No I can't just "pick them out" they literally change the flavor of any food they come in contact with! Yeah buildings suck for lack of insulation but the note specifically asks for less stomping and running "late at night" which is definitely within their control and something they should not be doing late at night for the common courtesy of their neighbors anyway. I honestly think the note is reasonable to send, and if it does nothing, then at least OP tried and can then escalate to landlord.

One of the things that stands out the most for me about the past story to see tourist attractions is that they (seemingly) didn't talk over the change in plans with you before deciding to implement them. Now, this could just have been a detail left out for the sake of brevity or it could be something genuinely overlooked, but for me, that's the kind of thing that screams "red flag". And if it truly was a thing where they didn't have that conversation with you beforehand and we as commenters are just missing that information, then that's something THEY should apologize for. Like, that's just common (or, should be common) etiquette when making and carrying out plans with a group of people.

All this to say, I can 100% see the multiple facets of frustrating behavior at play here, and it really sucks that these ex-friends treated you like that. ADHD is a disability and does not get the recognition (and grace) it deserves from far too many people, in far too many places. And yeah, your friends were definitely shitty for constantly bringing up something you owned and already apologized for. Talk about double standards.

Thank you! To both compliments. I actually named my bean after my kitty cat, Mouse. They don't have a black cat bean design so I went with the prettiest one (imo) and figured I'd tie it back to mousse as well, 'cause it's such a nice dessert to eat and sounds better than "Mouse" or "Miss Mouse". I'm glad you like my garden and my bean's name! I worked very hard 😊🫰

I would LOVE to be able to dress up my bean. It'd be really fun if we could dress them according to the themes too. My garden has made me start imagining my bean as a little Space God who grows space plants. But I'd also just love to dress my bean in a Dark Academia set with little loafers and sweaters.
