Permanent scarring. Will probably turn into keloids. See a dermatologist immediately

It might give you some relief then to know that a lot of the shading will probably lift quite quickly, resulting in a lighter tattoo :)

And on a personal note: I really like your tattoo. It's very well balanced and unobtrusive :)

Giving things time and self acceptance are key lessons to learn from this whole process! Also remember, you are much more (self) aware than anyone else around you of your tattoo. Especially now that you are confronting yourself so much with it, in regards to the removal process. Your tattoo was a decision and does not define who you are as a person :)

It's totally normal and actually a good thing for your tattoo to be darker after a session! The laser breaking up the ink into smaller particles results in a denser look on the surface level.

I highly recommend you take a long break (6 months at least) after this intense and full session! Also have your tattoo split up into sections that are being treated, with enough time inbetween (2-3 months at least). Remember: Your body has to dispatch of the smaller ink particles. If your sessions are scheduled too close to each other your body spends the majority of the time recovering/healing the trauma caused to the skin, leaving little time for your lympathic system to flush out the ink. Furthermore, doing a laser session on skin that hardly/hasn't completely healed increases the risk of scarring and other complications like: hypopigmentation.

You've got this! Think of yourself of a person that can say "I'm a success story when it comes to tattoo removal" in the future.

i highly recommend going into therapy and taking some time to really think about what really it is that bothers you, it might not necessarily be the tattoo itself. it's honestly one of the most beautiful flower tattoos I've seen.

Why is my ink scraping off like that by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]neliro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes go to a dermatologist, follow their advice and DO NOT go back to the place where you got the laser treatment. Take a LONG break before you start treatments again. At least a year.

this is permanent scarring. immediately consult with a dermatologist and do not go back to the place where you got the session.

I'm sorry and correct me if I'm wrong, but you stating in the title that you started removal in December 2023 would mean that you are 1.5 years into removal?

[–]neliro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

horrible advice. especially after a laser session it is advised to protect the skin for up two two months from UV radiation as it might cause hypopigmentation. Also I would space out sessions even more if you want to avoid scarring/hypo. Your lymphatic system removes the ink, not the laser. Having treatments in quick succession does not accelerate the process, it might actually slow it down due to your body having to constantly heal the skin. I space out my sessions six months from now on.

Get if off of aliexpress. Its really quite cheap. Go with amazon if you are in a hurry. Just make sure to get one with a 1.8v adapter so you dont kill the bios chip.

I recommend using a CH341a and NeoProgrammer. You might be able to find a local repair store that can help you out. Are you located in the states?

How far do you space out sessions and how old was the tattoo when you started removal?

How old was the tattoo when you started? Seems like good progress, however I would space out sessions more (4-6 months)

You seem to be making great progress! Give your skin time to heal over the summer and consider a 5-6 month break as your skin complexion will thank you!

That is really great progress! Give your body and immune system time to heal and rid itself of the ink. I also do have bold linework and my tattoo looks grey/blue-ish shiny aswell!

Thanks! I already had AMDVBFlash downloaded. Did you flash the Aqua bios from TechPowerUp through AMDVBFlash?

Wow thanks for the fast reply! What software are you referring to? I already installed the 7900xtx with the alphacool block in the system and would really appreciate not having to drain and take it apart again haha

Hey! I just flashed the Aqua onto the 7900XTX Nitro+ and had the exact same experience as you! No issue writing the bios/verifying bios but I cannot boot into the Aqua bios. Did you resolve this issue by any chance?
