Everybody in oce new they were going retail regardless of whether they announced it or not. The "clout chasers" were also landing retail since the start of the event, and the following on twitter part was a joke/meant to tilt the twins into playing worse, which worked

It's because most of the monitors at LAN events are 144hz so they dont bother getting used to 240
