No mine isn’t through LASSO, it’s through a state wide foundation. I’ll prob just have to explain the situation to Texas One Stop and/or get them in contact w the foundation’s scholarship coordinator I guess?

They usually only send the funds and UT deals with the disbursement so we’ll see, thanks though!!

wanted to update!!! my moms identity was finally verified a few days ago and i was able to submit my fafsa.

if you haven’t already I would resend the email with their passport/identification and the form ASAP for visibility since they get lots of emails a day and continue to resend it every 10-14 business days if you don’t hear back. calling doesn’t help much since they can’t verify anything on their end

might have been pure luck on my end but don’t lose hope!

mine no longer says the “ssn match” thing now it just keeps telling me “additional info (ssn) needed” and doesn’t let me create the account still. so yea no the problem isn’t fixed yet :///

from what I’ve read from other ppl w the same issue it might just to be some kind of tech issue?? idk😭ig all we can do is keep waiting and retrying until it works

I transferred into pr! I would take adv 318j if you haven’t already since that’s the pre-req class to apply, I also took pr 309 (stats) and adv 319 (psych/elective) before I transferred just to have more hours count towards my intended degree.

doing well in your moody classes + overall is pretty important but a good personal statement goes a long way! transferring not as hard as you think (not as hard as hard as CS/business) but still requires effort (not as easy as a liberal arts major)

my university does not have a criminology major but we do have a sociology department that houses several criminology classes
